The leather is crafted to get the premium cracked texture and printed to resemble the irregular spot of the rare little white giraffe.
White Giraffe is inspired by the rare white giraffes (and other white animals with leucism themselves), to tell the little kids that being different is not something to be ashamed. We all have value hidden in our differences. Some people even made it big (remember Mr. Obama and Steve Jobs)! Though later the children may not escape all judgment (and sometimes, bully), we hope they can learn to value their own “uniqueness”. Or at least, for not judging themselves.
Our barefoot shoes are designed to achieve barefoot walking feel to support the natural development of the feet:
- light and thin 3.5 milimeter rubber outsole to provide better grip, traction, and durability for the little walkers (or runners!),
- genuine vegetable-tan leather for insole,
- 100% genuine leather for upper shoes,
- the wide toe box, zero drop heel, and the whole flexible design construction,
- elastic opening for an easy on and off that enables your kids to wear them themselves!
The shoes will stretch and form according to each unique little foot, facilitating longer lasting wear for the minis. All genuine natural leather is intended to be worn without socks as it breaths naturally.
